Testimonial Statement Building Bodies & Opening Minds

DON’T BE MISLEAD BY TYPICAL ADVERTISING PLOYS

We often see testimonial ads and before & after pictures, touting what great results was achieved by using one product, program, or another. Have you noticed the disclaimers stating “results are not typical”? These ads feature well known “celebrities”, actors & actresses, posing as “average people”; and sometimes, actual “average people”. Every ad of this nature talks about “gross weight loss” as the ultimate goal. The real goal for anyone is “optimal fitness”, which includes body composition. Gross weight is only one variable in the body composition equation.

There’s no “magic”, “secret”, or “quick fix” plans when it comes to fitness.

Any testimonial, whether from well known celebrities, or your best friend, should not have any bearing on your fitness needs. What everyone needs is “education”.

At Rivers Fitness, our goal is to educate about fitness. Like anything else, education empowers one to achieve.

With the proper education, anyone who does what’s required will get fit, and stay fit, regardless of their current condition.

For over 35 years I’ve seen people do what’s right, and succeed. I’ve also seen people do what’s wrong, and fail. The fact is, anyone can lose up to 15% of their body fat, and, or gain up to 15 pounds of lean body mass in 3 months. This is only accomplished, and sustained with education, first.

Think about this: any true and accurate testimonial about fitness success is like the testifier stating they took an 8 ounce glass, poured 8 ounces of water in it, and it was full. Well…….DUH!

Therefore, Rivers Fitness doesn’t promote testimonials, or before & after pictures. Our goal is to educate, thereby empowering you to take control of one of the most important aspects of your life…… your fitness!
